NEW YORK STATE (WRGB) — Five people who are permanent residents but not U.S. citizens are facing federal voting fraud charges, accused of voting in elections they had no right to participate in.
On October 13 and 14, 2026, Vikki Bradt, 51, a British national, of Ballston Spa; Samantha Merkle, 55, a British national of Glens Falls; Suad Sasic, 30, a Bosnian national of Clifton Park: Jacques Patry, 64, a Canadian national of Tupper Lake; and Paula Stitt, 57, a Canadian national of Albany, appeared on charges of voting by aliens. All defendants are lawful permanent residents.
