WAXHAW – JAARS has flown medical supplies, translators, missionaries and other aid in and out of some of the most inaccessible places on Earth. The organization has called the Charlotte region its home since the 1960s.
The community can experience first-hand how the organization works around the world to cover the last mile of missions through JAARS Day.
Visitors can watch live demonstrations of multiple JAARS aircraft, including how pilots land in jungle conditions. They also have the opportunity to ride planes, helicopters and land vehicles (with a small fee and signed waiver)…
