WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A judge denied bond Friday for a man accused of brutally beating a 67-year-old nurse at a Palm Beach County hospital, ruling that the proposed release conditions would not adequately protect the community.
Stephen Scantlebury appeared in Palm Beach County court Friday as his defense team requested his release on a $50,000 bond with GPS monitoring and house arrest.
