Clark County’s early voting period kicks off Saturday, and voters heading to the polls at eight locations across the Las Vegas Valley will find more than just ballot machines waiting for them. Indivisible Las Vegas is hosting what it calls a nonpartisan No Kings “Party at the Polls,” with music, selfie stations, and welcome teams set up outside polling places from Meadows Mall to Craig Ranch Regional Park.
The Saturday events mark a shift for the national No Kings movement, which spent 2025 and early 2026 organizing mass street protests against what organizers described as authoritarian overreach. According to MoveOn, the group and the broader No Kings Coalition designated October 17, 2026, as a coordinated nationwide day of action, redirecting the movement’s energy from protest demonstrations into early-voting turnout drives in all 50 states. Indivisible Las Vegas frames its Saturday events as a nonpartisan voter-participation celebration rather than a partisan rally, according to FOX5 Vegas.
Eight Sites, Staggered Shifts Across the Valley
The station reports that six locations will run morning shifts from 9 to 11 a.m., while Desert Breeze Park holds a late-morning shift from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Seven of the eight sites will also run afternoon shifts from 4 to 6:30 p.m., per the same report. Locations include Meadows Mall on Meadows Lane east of Valley View, Cardenas Market on East Bonanza near Lamb, Arroyo Market Square at Rainbow and Badura, Blue Diamond Crossing at Blue Diamond and Hinson, Craig Ranch Regional Park on Craig Road west of Revere, Galleria Mall at Stephanie and Sunset, Desert Breeze Park on Spring Mountain west of Cimarron, and Pearson Community Center on Carey Avenue west of Martin Luther King Boulevard.
Families are encouraged to attend, organizers say, and children can take an “I Promise to Vote When I Turn 18” pledge and get a sticker while supplies last, per FOX5 Vegas’s reporting. Each location will also hold a selfie contest with patriotic props, with organizers awarding gift cards to winners. Attendees are encouraged to wear their “I Voted” stickers, and an after-party is planned for 7 p.m. at Bizarre Bar, 1301 S. Main St. #200.
Keeping Clear of the 100-Foot Line
Event volunteers will set up music, signs, food, welcome teams, and photo props outside the eight polling locations. For early voting on public property, electioneering restrictions apply within 100 feet of the voting area under NRS 293.361; the 100-foot-from-the-entrance rule under NRS 293.740 applies on Election Day. On private property, rules depend on the owner’s permission. The Clark County Election Department says election workers post distance-marker signs…
