MONROE, Mich. (WTVG) – One person was found dead and several people were hospitalized Saturday morning during an ‘assault and fire’ investigation, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say they were called to an active assault and fire on Raintree Blvd. around 5:37 a.m. Saturday. Upon arrival, deputies say they found ‘numerous’ people injured, “along with a deceased male.” Fire & EMS crews treated the victims and took several people to hospitals.
The Sheriff’s Office has not detailed an exact number of people injured, the nature of how the person died, their age or if foul play is suspected.
