AUSTIN, Texas — Just as early voting is set to begin, Democrat Gina Hinojosa is confident in her bid for Governor.
The latest UT/Texas Politics Project poll, released Oct. 13, shows the Austin state Representative leading Governor Greg Abbott by one percentage point, 49%-48%. The poll calls that lead “statistically insignificant,” so the race is basically tied. The margin of error is +/- 3.34%.
