A new grocery store is planned for Jacksonville’s Moncrief neighborhood, where Moncrief Grocery & More is set to take over the former Price Rite Food Store building.
According to the Jacksonville Business Journal, the proposed 2,100-square-foot store will be led by members of the family behind Holley’s BBQ, the longtime Jacksonville restaurant. The project is part of an effort to bring new life to the property at 3528 Moncrief Road.
The grocery store is expected to offer fresh produce and breakfast service. Further details about its product selection, menu and day-to-day operations have not yet been announced…
