DETROIT – An 82-year-old Detroit woman living alone was hit with a $32,000 water bill. Stunned, her family called Local 4. Now the bill is being addressed — and the explanation may matter to other Detroiters, too.
“They said that the bill was $32,000. I was like, 32,000? That’s insane,” Tiffany Damerond said.
