New Jersey homeowners and renters should keep an eye on their bank accounts and mailboxes: the state Treasury Department is issuing ANCHOR property tax relief payments for tax year 2025 on a rolling basis, usually within 90 days of filing.
Homeowners with 2025 gross income of $150,000 or less will receive $1,500, while those with income between $150,001 and $250,000 will receive $1,000. Renters with income up to $150,000 will receive $450 – or $700 if they were 65 or older by December 31, 2025.
