Eastvale has sent another delegation to Washington, D.C. in its ongoing attempt to get the city one zip code.
Council members Christian Dinco and Mike McMinn, along with city staff members, joined representatives from five states to lobby on behalf of HR 10257 and SB 4505, according to a statement on the city’s website.
Both of those bills would establish a method for correcting outdated ZIP code boundaries. Eastvale’s two zip codes – 91752 and 92880 – have caused the city difficulties since it incorporated in 2010 including delayed and missed deliveries, confusion by first responders, higher insurance premiums, and lost sales tax revenue from online sales…
