NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – Pope Leo XIV made his first public speaking appearance Sunday (Oct. 18) since surgeons in Rome removed a cancerous part of his lung five days earlier.
The American-born pontiff delivered his weekly blessing from a balcony overlooking St. Peter’s Square and a crowd of thousands gathered in Vatican City.
