The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department says an inmate who escaped from the city justice center Sunday morning was taken into custody Sunday afternoon in St. Louis County.
With support from St. Louis County Police, plus regional and federal partners, 29-year-old Maurio Thomas was located near the corner of Tesson Ferry Road and Hermitage Drive.
Earlier in the day, SLMPD spokesman Mitch McCoy said the public should consider Thomas “incredibly dangerous.” He was detained on burglary and sexual assault charges…
