FAIRFIELD, Ala. (WBRC) – A Fairfield woman is grateful to be alive after her home caught fire over the weekend. She said her neighbors are the reason she survived.
Tina Brown said she woke up Saturday and thought it was a beautiful day to grill, so she was getting ready to cook outside when she walked away to take a phone call inside.
She said she could smell smoke and knew it wasn’t coming from her grill. When she opened her back door, all she saw was plumes of smoke and large flames…
