The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) announced that an Oct. 15 wreck on Interstate 65 has claimed the life of the driver.
Benjamin N. Gross, 59 of Elmore, was killed in the single-vehicle wreck that occurred at around 1:15 p.m. Gross’ 2012 Mazda CX-7 he was driving left the roadway, struck a sign post, a cable barrier and then overturned. Gross was not using his seat belt at the time of the crash, and he was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced deceased at the scene.
