Farley, a one-year-old, 18-pound dog recently brought to Rhode Island from Texas, is settling in with the help of a caring foster home, and may soon be ready to meet prospective adopters. Small Dog Rescue of New England he gets along well with other dogs and was expected to be ready for a meet-and-greet in a few days.
The trip north brought a big change in weather for Farley. “He isn’t used to these colder temps here in RI,” the rescue shared, describing how his foster mom made sure he was warm and comfortable in a soft blanket.
