(WJAR) — A Cranston man has a warning for homeowners after he paid to renew his furnace maintenance plan with Continental Engineering, only to have the Johnston company close before his scheduled service appointment.
Terrence Gasbarro, a longtime customer, said he mailed his annual check on Sept. 2 and the company cashed it six days later.
“I sent the check in on September 2nd, they cashed the check September 8th,” Gasbarro said…
