WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Two Wilmington restaurants are joining forces as Smoke on the Water prepares for a move downtown.
In an announcement, Smoke on the Water said it will begin working with Rumcow on Oct. 29, combining operations built by both restaurants in the local dining scene.
Owners say both restaurants will continue to honor the legacy of James Smith, who opened Smoke on the Water at its Riverlights location on the Cape Fear River about 10 years ago. James died in 2023…
