Longtime Sioux Falls family business Malloy is moving to a newly renovated headquarters.
The business purchased the former Sullivan Inc. building at at 3101 N. Fourth Ave. and is converting it into a space that will bring six separate Sioux Falls locations under one roof.
“It was a massive distribution center that we can repurpose, and that doesn’t happen very often,” Malloy owner and CEO Chris Houwman said. “The land, the office layout, the footprint, it was almost customized for Malloy, and you don’t find that built like this.”
Sullivan Inc. was acquired by a private equity firm in 2014, which then sold it to a new owner in 2023. The Sioux Falls warehouse closed last year, and one of its brands was acquired early this year…
