WICKLIFFE, Ohio (WOIO) – A local high school graduate who went on to achieve the rank of military lieutenant was among the eight people killed two months ago when a plane crashed in Alaska.
2nd Lt. Leah Rose Borsich died Aug. 20 after federal investigators said a charter aircraft went down near a remote Western Alaska radar site following a second landing attempt in thick fog and low visibility.
There were no survivors…
