NEW IBERIA, La. (KLFY) — Triumph Construction, LLC will begin street improvements on Saint Jude Street in New Iberia on Thursday, Oct. 22. The work will focus on the 400 and 500 blocks of Saint Jude Street, extending from Robertson Street to West Pershing Street.
The street project is expected to last approximately nine weeks, depending on weather conditions. Working hours are scheduled from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, with work also planned for some Saturdays.
The project will begin with crews milling the existing asphalt surface down to the underlying concrete foundation. Once the asphalt layer is removed, workers will evaluate the concrete and complete necessary repairs before applying a fresh asphalt overlay…
