Penguins forward Ben Kindel is receiving treatment after having a medical episode of the team’s flight back from Salt Lake City.
The Penguins issued a statement on Tuesday afternoon saying that the incident happened shortly after takeoff. The plane then returned to Salt Lake City International Airport.
While the team didn’t get into the specifics of the medical episode, they said that a UPMC physician, as well as the team’s medical staff “were on board and immediately attended to Ben.”…
