SEATTLE — Amazon said it will hire more than 300,000 people nationwide for seasonal, part-time, and full-time positions during the holiday period, with 7,000 jobs in Washington and 4,500 in the Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue area.
The company said new roles will be posted weekly from October through December, and many seasonal hires may have the option to transition into full-time employment.
