JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Residents concerned about crashes along Braddock Road will hear updates Thursday on possible safety improvements, including a traffic light planned for the intersection with Dunn Avenue.
District 8 City Council member Reggie Gaffney Jr. is hosting the meeting with a state representative at 6 p.m. at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church on Dunn Avenue in Northwest Jacksonville.
In 2024, Gaffney said the intersection had averaged 41 crashes over five to six years. The City Council Finance Committee had approved $1.5 million for Northside infrastructure projects, including work near Dunn Avenue and Braddock Road…
