Pre-leasing is underway and tenants are expected to begin moving in at The Aston East Village, a new seven-story, 228,400-square-foot residential development in downtown Des Moines.
According to a news release, the building, at 603 E. Sixth St., will feature 161 apartments — a mix of one-bedroom, two-bedroom and studio floor plans. In-unit washers and dryers are included.
The residential units include 36 studios, 78 one-bedroom units and 47 two-bedroom units. Seventeen units will be dedicated for workforce housing, with 10 units being Americans with Disability Act-certified. Apartments range in size from 499 square feet to 1,134 square feet…
