NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – Jimmy Cho, the owner of Gretna restaurant Banana Blossom, has passed away, officials announced on the restaurant’s Facebook page Tuesday (Oct. 20).
“We are deeply saddened by the passing of Jimmy Cho, a beloved friend, talented chef, and the heart and soul behind Banana Blossom,” reads the Facebook statement.
Officials said that Banana Blossom will be closed until further notice, and they do not have a reopening date at this time…
