MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ala. (WSFA) – A man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for a 2023 robbery in which a victim was attacked and robbed while asleep.
Michael Boone pleaded guilty to first-degree robbery after evidence presented in court showed that he and an accomplice entered the victim’s vehicle on April 28, 2023.
The robbery took place at the 100 block of North Burbank Drive, where the victim was parked and asleep in the driver’s seat. Boone and his accomplice pulled out firearms, and Boone, who was in the back seat, hit the victim multiple times in the head. Boone and his accomplice then stole the victim’s cash, jewelry, and a gun before leaving the scene…
