Milton cancels Veterans Day and holiday parades as storm cleanup costs climb to $25M

MILTON, Fla. — Debris removal in Milton is now expected to cost far more than city leaders first projected, as residents continue clearing storm damage nearly two weeks after a hurricane tore through the area.

City officials now estimate debris removal will cost about $25 million. Last week, officials put the price tag at around $16 million.
