SHREVEPORT, La. — A former employee of a local law firm was sentenced Monday after pleading guilty to stealing $173,000 from the firm.
Sarah Steiner, 43, pleaded guilty as charged to one count of felony theft involving $25,000 or more before Caddo District Court Judge John D. Mosely Jr.
Mosely sentenced Steiner to 10 years, with all but two years suspended, followed by five years of active supervised probation. Steiner was also ordered to pay $147,000 in restitution to the Trey Morris Law Firm…
