A petition to recall Kechi Mayor Joanie Harris has been rejected by the Sedgwick County district attorney after the DA did not find enough facts to support grounds for recall, according to documents obtained by the Wichita Eagle.
The petition was filed to the Sedgwick County Election Office on Sept. 24 and listed several accusations against Harris, who has been in the seat since 2025.
