SEDGWICK COUNTY —A man accused in a deadly shooting in Wichita was back in court last week.
Tayante O. Dagans, 32, attended a preliminary hearing in the courtroom of Judge Sean Hatfield. Probable cause was found in connection with the shooting death of 38-year-old Montel Parks of Wichita, according to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s office.
Dagans is scheduled for arraignment on October 29, accordig to the DA’s office.
The investigation began just after 6:30 p.m. May 12, when officers responded to a reported shooting at Emery Gardens apartments, 4244 S. Hydraulic in Wichita, according to a media release from Wichita police…
