LAKELAND, Fla. — A 41-year-old Lakeland man wanted on multiple felony warrants across two different local police agencies was arrested Friday afternoon after a 911 caller tailed him to a fast-food restaurant.
Christopher Wade Stubbs was taken into custody by Polk County Sheriff’s deputies around 1:00 p.m. on October 16 at the Wendy’s on Lakeland Park Boulevard.
Authorities said a bystander recognized Stubbs, knew law enforcement was actively looking for him, and followed him while relaying live location updates directly to county dispatchers. Deputies moved in shortly after Stubbs arrived at the restaurant…
