Sisters of St. Mary’s (SSM) and Dean Medical Group nurses filed charges against SSM Health Oct. 8 as they seek union recognition.
The group alleged SSM threatened nurses advocating for unions, destroyed union information and failed to engage in negotiations. The nurses union expressed disappointment at SSM’s lack of cooperation.
