This Saturday, thousands of music lovers of all ages will gather at River Park for the ninth annual River Park Concert, a free day of local and national bands, food, art vendors, and community celebration.
The park opens at noon on Saturday, Oct. 24, at 140 E. Margaret Lane, with music starting at 12:30 p.m. and running to 8 p.m.
Headliner The Brothers Comatose is a national touring band that refers to its sound as “Goldengrass,” born out of bluegrass, “but with the undeniable freedom and rock ’n’ roll attitude of California.” The Bluegrass Standard notes that “their musicianship is fierce, and their shows are high-energy.
