Journey brings its Final Frontier Tour to Newark on Sunday, October 25, for a show starting at 7:30 p.m. Eastern. The Prudential Center sits at 25 Lafayette Street in downtown Newark, according to a ticketing listing.

How the Farewell Run Began

The tour opened February 28 at GIANT Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. It started as a 60-date North American leg, which the band presented as its farewell trek, as first announced in November 2025.

In May, the band added 40 fall dates, including the Newark stop. Neal Schon described the response to the shows, saying “The energy has been incredible every night.”

When the tour was announced, Schon pointed to a show built around both big hits and deeper album cuts, as reported in May. Other stops on the run have featured “Don’t Stop Believin’,” “Any Way You Want It,” “Faithfully,” and “Lights,” according to FOX 5 Vegas. Setlists change from night to night, so the Newark lineup is not confirmed here.

Keyboardist Jonathan Cain has said this run will be his last with the band, as Ultimate Classic Rock reports. Rolling Stone notes it is unclear whether the group will continue without him, so the Newark show may be one of the last chances to see this lineup…
