A pedestrian was killed on Interstate 40 in Durham early Friday morning after being struck by multiple cars, according to Durham police.
Police said they responded to a report of a fatality just before 1:30 a.m. on I-40 near South Miami Boulevard, where they learned the pedestrian was struck “multiple times” by passing cars. It’s unclear how many vehicles were involved, according to police.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Their name will not be released until their family is notified, police said…
