Mendocino Farms is expanding its Arizona presence with a new restaurant planned for Epicenter at Agritopia in Gilbert, with an anticipated opening in Summer 2027. Known for its chef-crafted sandwiches, salads, and globally inspired flavors, the Southern California-based restaurant chain will join the growing collection of dining, shopping, and wellness destinations at the East Valley development.
Fresh Flavors Coming to Gilbert
Founded in Southern California in 2005, Mendocino Farms has expanded to more than 100 locations across Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois, Texas, and Washington. Its planned Gilbert opening represents another step in the company’s continued growth throughout the Southwest.
Mendocino Farms specializes in sandwiches and salads featuring seasonal ingredients and a combination of familiar and internationally influenced flavors. The brand’s menu emphasizes fresh produce, creative ingredient pairings, and chef-developed recipes, with options suited for quick lunches, casual dinners, and group dining. The company operates under its signature “Eat Happy” philosophy, which focuses on combining food with approachable hospitality and a welcoming restaurant environment.
“We’ve been looking forward to coming to Gilbert for a while now,” says Alicia Mowder, chief marketing officer of Mendocino Farms, in a press release. “The community here is so strong, and Agritopia Epicenter feels like a place that was built around bringing people together over fresh, elevated food, which is really what Mendo has always been about. Every sandwich and salad on our menu is thoughtfully crafted, and our team loves making guests feel at home the moment they walk in. Whether you’re grabbing lunch on the go or settling in with friends, we hope Mendo becomes one of those easy, feel-good spots in your week. We can’t wait to welcome everyone in.”…
