Friday’s regular-season finales settled championships, secured playoff berths and sent teams home across Southwest Ohio. Now comes the wait to see exactly how the postseason brackets fall into place.
According to JoeEitel.com’s unofficial projections late Friday night, much of the field is established heading into Saturday. Several seed positions remain unsettled, however, with outstanding games and results still working their way into the computer ratings.
The top 12 teams in each region qualify. Seeds 1–4 receive first-round byes, while seeds 5–8 host opening-round games. The OHSAA’s latest weekly ratings release says its final report is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 25. First-round action begins Friday, Oct. 30.
