BJ’s Wholesale Club officially opened the doors to its first Ocala warehouse on Friday, welcoming shoppers to Marion County’s second membership-based wholesale club.
Located at 7351 SW 60th Avenue within the Winding Oaks development near State Road 200, the new location features a full grocery department with fresh produce, meats, a bakery, and a deli, alongside general merchandise, household essentials, and consumer electronics.
The property also includes a dedicated service center for tires and propane, as well as an attached 2,200-square-foot liquor store dedicated to package sales of beer, wine, and spirits.
The warehouse opening marks the completion of the project’s primary phase following the debut of the on-site BJ’s Gas station earlier this month, which hosted a promotional discounted fuel event for members on Wednesday.
Company representatives also confirmed that the Ocala club has established an ongoing community partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida to donate surplus perishables, including meat, dairy, and produce, to local feeding programs.
