The Christian County Tigers had a strong showing at the Class 3-A, Region 1 Cross Country Meet Saturday afternoon at Trigg County Recreational Complex and they were rewarded with a bid to the KHSAA State Cross Country Meet.
Tyson Cavinder helped the Tigers take third place as a team. The junior navigated the hilly course on a warm day in 17:43 to take seventh place individually.
