Controversial local TV and radio station owner Kevin Adell filed for bankruptcy Friday in the face of mounting financial woes and to stave off creditors, the Detroit News reports.
The filing comes in the wake of battles with the IRS and after a federal jury in Detroit last week awarded a Black pastor from North Carolina $62.2 million in a race discrimination lawsuit against Adell.
