A former Central Texas-based television reporter is now on the airwaves in the Midwest. Michael Courier, who previously worked at the ABC-affiliated television station KVUE in Austin, announced he landed a new TV gig in his home state.
Earlier this month, Courier revealed his departure from KVUE on October 9 in a Facebook post as he bid goodbye to the Lone Star State that he and his wife called home for the past few years. In his message, he also shared that he secured a new reporter and anchor role with the ABC-affiliated TV station, WZZM in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
“Although my time in Austin was relatively short, the impact this city and my coworkers had on my life is truly difficult to put into words,” Courier wrote in a caption. “I will forever be grateful for EVERYONE in ATX.”…
