Nearly three years after plans for the location were first announced, Martin’s BBQ is preparing to open its doors in southwest Ocala and will host on-site open interviews this week.
The restaurant, situated at 2601 SW 19th Avenue Road, announced that it is hiring for both kitchen staff and customer service personnel.
In-person interviews will be held on-site at the restaurant on Tuesday, Oct. 27, and Wednesday, Oct. 28, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. The hiring drive represents the final stretch of a lengthy development process for the Puerto Rican rotisserie chicken brand.
Ocala-News.com first reported that Martin’s BBQ was coming to Ocala in late 2023, after the company acquired the parcel previously occupied by The Gathering Cafe.
