San Francisco Fire Department crews responded to Fort Funston at around 1 p.m. Saturday following a report of a dog that went over a cliff with its owner.
Upon arrival, crews confirmed that one dog and one adult were on the cliffside in the shallower section of the cliffs just north of the hang glider deck.
While emergency crews were setting up a rope rescue system, the human companion successfully made their way down to the beach below via a dangerous route. Neither the human companion nor the dog sustained injuries…
