A Belleview man is facing 25 felony charges after allegedly stealing approximately $85,000 worth of jewelry from a woman’s home while he was supposed to be feeding her animals.
The female victim reported the theft to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office on Friday, October 9, after discovering two high-value bracelets and approximately 200 rings missing from her residence, according to the arrest report.
Investigators noted there were no signs of forced entry at the victim’s home. She told deputies that a man, identified as 54-year-old Keith Francis Verner, had a key to her residence and was given permission to enter it to feed her pets while she was away…
