A third former guard at a federal prison in Lexington has pleaded guilty to trying to cover up the assault of an inmate in their care.
Donovan Sheets, a former senior officer specialist at FMC Lexington, pleaded guilty on Oct. 22 to a charge of falsification of records. He is the third person to be indicted and plead guilty in the June 2025 incident.
