Well, to the dozens—if not more than 100—people who have contacted us about this over the years, we have an update: A door-to-door electricity solicitor has been arrested and charged with deceptive practice. We know. We couldn’t believe it either.
It happened a couple of weeks ago in Uptown. And, ironically, the police got involved because the solicitor flagged down sheriff’s officers to complain that a woman, upset about his sales pitch, wouldn’t stop following him…
