Hooky Entertainment Nashville announced that Soundproof, an intimate, music-driven speakeasy and cocktail bar, will open Thursday, Oct. 29, inside Hooky at Nashville Yards. Inspired by Music City’s golden age, Soundproof will offer inventive cocktails, curated light bites and live entertainment in an intimate setting designed for lingering evenings. “Hooky is an entertainment destination for people to ditch the everyday, and Soundproof adds another dimension to that,” said CEO Charlie Tiantawach in a statement. “Soundproof gives a more intimate option for guests who want to settle in with a cocktail, listen to great music and enjoy a different side of Hooky.”
Soundproof is designed to transport guests into the atmosphere of a legendary recording session from Music City’s golden age. Hidden behind the arcade lights of Hooky Nashville, the intimate speakeasy trades the energy of the larger entertainment venue for moody interiors, curated live performances and an elevated cocktail program. The experience begins before guests even enter the space. An unmarked door beneath an illuminated “Recording in Progress” sign in the cinema concourse leads guests through a series of clues involving hanging microphones and a mixing board.
