MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — South Carolina Attorney General and Republican nominee for governor Alan Wilson said he was nothing short of “overwhelmed” at the support he and fellow Republicans received in Myrtle Beach on Monday, Oct. 26.
“What we do isn’t easy,” Wilson said during a campaign stop on Monday, Oct. 26, at Veterans Cafe and Grille. “It weighs on you … body, mind and spirit. But when I walked in here today and saw how many fire codes we were breaking, it just made me smile.
“We don’t always have the luxury of walking into rooms that are filled with this much support,” he said. “So when we come to a room like this where it’s standing room only and we can barely move and there is such a show of love … it really lifts our spirits.”…
