AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — Amarillo’s Todd Wetsel has been appointed to the Texas Veterans Commission by Gov. Greg Abbott, with a term that runs through Dec. 31, 2031.
Wetsel is senior vice president and trust investment officer with FirstBank Southwest. He served in the U.S. Army as a Cavalry Scout with the 1st Cavalry Division, including two deployments to Iraq, according to a news release from the bank. 2026 Wetsel Appointed to Veterans Committee.pdf
