Hundreds of Villagers flocked to the new Eastport town center recently to dance to the sounds of classic rock ‘n’ roll under the town square’s vibrant purple canopy.
Popular local band Rocky and the Rollers took the stage at Eastport this past Friday, bringing their signature mix of 1950s and ’60s rock, doo-wop, and pop hits to the community’s newest gathering spot.
Fronted by Gerry “Rocky” Seader, the group kept the energy high throughout the evening as a large crowd of residents line-danced and clapped along to the music.
Hundreds more residents watched from their foldable chairs, filling nearly every spot surrounding the stage.
The performance highlighted the growing popularity of Eastport, the newest town square in the southern region of The Villages, which has quickly become a focal point for evening entertainment and social gatherings.
